Tall Ship Antigua represents an exceptional commercial opportunity within the expedition and charter market. Thanks to her relatively shallow draft, the vessel can access remote areas and smaller harbours that are inaccessible to many larger expedition ships. This flexibility greatly increases the range of possible itineraries and destinations.
Since her acquisition in 2005 by
Tallship Company, Antigua has been continuously developed and refined for high-quality expedition cruising. The eight-metre extension of the vessel significantly increased both comfort and operational possibilities. A particular highlight is the luxurious deck saloon with panoramic views — an important asset for expedition travel in northern waters and colder climates.
Antigua has proven herself to be a highly versatile and commercially attractive vessel. Her combination of authentic character, expedition capability and passenger comfort has resulted in strong demand from charter companies, travel agents and private guests alike. Over the years, the ship has built an excellent reputation and a loyal customer base.
The sailing area of Antigua is worldwide, creating a wide range of future business opportunities. At present, the vessel mainly operates in the Baltic Sea and in Northern Norway during the autumn and early winter season. However, Antigua is equally suitable for voyages in the North Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and other international cruising areas. The ship is fully equipped for extended voyages and expedition-style operations.
